Hello, again!

Ok, so it's only been a month since I have had anything to say...No, I've had plenty to say, just no time to blog. What's been happening this spring in the Stephens' world? Let's take a look:

Cooper is having a blast (snort, snort) playing bastball. It's a form of t-ball, except they don't start out with all the bases. They have added a base every other week. The bases they add "honk" at them when they step on them. It's hilarious! The kids also have to yell, "Blast!" whenever they catch, or scoop up, the ball. He really is enjoying it. We are having so much fun watching him, especially Scott. He's so proud. (As long as Coop stays out of the dirt!) And that's not to say that we don't want him getting dirty. We just don't want him playing in the dirt! But, his team is appropriately named the "Dirt Dogs!" Oh, and the boy caught a pop-fly a few weeks ago. A kid hit it off the tee, and Coop ran up and caught it!

Abby has been very busy with church and school activities. They just performed their spring choir musical at church, which was a lot of fun. She and a friend are preparing for the second grade lip sync contest at school. They're doing "Foot Loose." We've got to find them some leg warmers and give them big 80's hair!

She just started ballet last night. She loves it. We're thrilled that she is taking an interest in dance again, which seems to be her niche.

Scott has been busy with work and it seems like a dozen or so committees. But, as always, he finds time to spend with us. He is such a great dad and husband. I don't know what I would do without him. He works so hard for us, but plays even harder! If it would just stop raining, maybe we could get back out on the golf course! I hope it dries up before Sunday, because that is my treat for Mother's Day -- an afternoon of golfing with my golf buddies. The kids are ready, too!
